County Clerk releases tax rates

Madison County Clerk Mark Von Nida announced that the 2008 assessed valuations for Madison County taxing districts have been compiled and they have been notified of their tax rates.
According to a news release from the clerk, the assessment roll shows an increase of 169,838,141 in the County. The following is a breakdown of the assessed values of the districts affecting county board district 14 with the previous year rate for comparison.
